About the Role

The Finance Officer will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and strengthening internal financial systems.

The successful candidate will support effective financial management through:

Financial reporting and budgeting
Payroll administration
Grant accounting and compliance
Bookkeeping and reconciliations
Procurement and payments support
Financial systems and data management

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

An Honors Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS, or SAAA
At least 2 years of relevant experience in an NGO, college, or laboratory environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll systems
High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
