The Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) recently hosted a continental iPROTECTA workshop to strengthen healthcare outcomes and therapeutic safety across Africa. Organised with AiBST and other international partners, the gathering is part of broader efforts to advance pharmacogenomics and its application in patient care.
For AiBST, the workshop connects with an ongoing mission: generating Africa-relevant genomic evidence and supporting its translation into clinical practice. iPROTECTA—Implementation of Pharmacogenomics Testing for Effective Care and Treatment in Africa provides a framework for advancing this work through collaborative clinical research.
